DSI hot water heater or tank less water heater?

Portable for now. It ignites from two D batteries so you would need access and to hook up the lines. Plus it's adaptable to the outside shower and it has a heat/fire vent up top that needs to be placed outside. There is a model made by Eccotemp , the L10 that is more of a exterior permanent...

DSI hot water heater or tank less water heater?

I have the Eccotemp L5 on demand hot water shower . I did exactly what you are wanting to do. I have the outside shower hookup but no FWC DSI installed heater. I not only saved money but I also now have more space and less weight. I used the same setup on my M416 expedition trailer. Dan

    Taking The Plunge

A newer Atwood I believe. It has a plastic front with a turnable direction face to direct air in a specific direction. FWC introduced them 3 weeks ago. Brenda wasn't even very familiar with them. I haven't filled the propane tanks yet, but there's a flashing green light at the bottom of the...

    Taking The Plunge

Yes I did see the silver Grandby. And yes I have the new furnace, but I didn't fire it up yet. Cool thing is , there isn't a pilot light. When you turn on the thermostat, it automatically ignites the heater. Last night I slept in it with Bayleaf and was very comfortable. Although I don't...

    Taking The Plunge

Which baby was yours? The install took a little longer than most because I had them install my two AGM batteries and my solar charger. We were there for about 4-5.5 hours. I was the 4th install that mainline has done so far. I can go down in the annals of Mainline Overland's history. I'm...

    Taking The Plunge

Woo Hoo, I got my Hawk! I'm a bit bummed that somewhere my order got mixed up and the extra roof vent got left off. Now I'm gonna have to go to the factory in Woodland to get it installed and Matt at Mainline Overland is covering the costs, so not too much of a loss and I'll be in California...

    Leave Tailgate On or Off?

I wish I had the engineering/welding skills to fabricate a tailgate extension that would allow me to close it even with the Hawk installed. Best of both worlds. I really like the idea of leaving it on. I'm pretty darn tall and it is just me and the dog. Having that extra storage space would be...
