    Inverter all day long

Yes, the inverter has a couple of fans in it. I also installed some 5-in low impedance fans that you use for audio cabinets to ventilate that area. Basically all of my electronics are in one place and it forms an l in the back of the truck. It easily gets into the '90s there.

    Inverter all day long

Good day wander the West friends: is anyone running their inverter 24/7? I haven't converted my starlink to 12 volt yet. So, I've been keeping my inverter running as I drive as well as when I'm not driving. My 200 amp hours worth of batteries seems to be keeping up in the off times and my DC to...

    Advise needed from Tacoma owners

    30 lb vs 40lb struts

Just installed 40 lb struts on the front and it definitely made a difference. Still takes a little doing to lift it up but nowhere near as bad as it was. It also doesn't slam down like it did before. I'm going to order a set for the back as well. I haven't messed with the homemade linear...

    FWC mattresses are bricks...

I have a midsize truck project M. The sleeping area is 66x48 inches when the sliding mattress thing is not extended. My goal was to sleep diagonally and not have to extend the mattress shelf all the way out. So I bought a 6 in trifold foam/memory foam mattress and found it to be a little bit...

    30 lb vs 40lb struts

Thanks Jon R. I actually ordered a linear actuator from Amazon and was going to try and fashion a homemade interior lift kit. And yes that first foot and a half or so is barely tenable. Even past that the roof wants to come down and the struts really don't feel like they're helping much at all...

    30 lb vs 40lb struts

I confirmed with suspa that part number C16-15952 is the 40 lb version of C16-22241. I ordered a pair off of Amazon for about $50. Suspa wanted 60 bucks each. I just raised the front roof again. And oh my gosh, is it heavy? I'm hoping the 40 lb units do the trick. Again, I have a project M

    30 lb vs 40lb struts

Good day my WanderTheWest Four Wheel Campers friends. I have a Project M that has 30LB struts and it is difficult to raise the roof. I just put a couple of solar panels on the roof and now the roof is even more difficult and comes down very fast in the front. I'd almost call it slams down on...

Anyone try a SuperCapacitor jump starter? How did it go?

I use mine for the first time a few months ago and it worked like a charm. I actually had easier access to my jumper cables but couldn't find anyone to give me a jump. I wound up unearthing my capacitor jump starter and it work like a charm on my dead battery. I didn't put a meter on the...
