Tire Hell
Holy S**t DD, first it was propane hell and then tire hell, doesn't quite seem fair. Great pics and report, thanks and better luck has to be coming.
I'm with Ron, would never consider going back to 2wd in this winter environment. One point that hasn't been mentioned is the difference between cruising through slightly tough road sections in 4wd versus beating up the road in 2wd leaving a worse road for the next driver or for you the next...
Welcome aboard. Be sure to sanitize the water system, not just flush. Use 1/4 cup of household bleach dissolved in 1 gallon of water for every 15 gallons of water tank capacity. Don't forget to fill and include the hot water heater tank volume in your final water capacity total. Let the solution...
Don't have any pics handy but will do some looking around, in the mean time let's wish all the best to Edna and Mark in this trying time. Good vibes are always needed in the world.

Sorry to hear of your bad luck but glad you are ok, the rest is repairable. I'd get another opinion on the camper fix, we've seen people repair some very trashed campers here on forum and I'll bet it can be fixed in some fashion. Keep us posted.
explore,
I'm glad to hear you're building a dinette, I love to see where these mods go and will look forward to the pics.
The battery separator is behind the battery case to the photo #4. That's the stock location from the factory though the battery location was changed way back in a previous...
nix,
Very nice work, the extra space in the longer campers really allows a proper dinette layout. FWC sent me a custom sized table at a reasonable cost when I was finishing our dinette and now they use a light weight plywood under the formica. You might consider calling to see what Chicali in...
Saints,
Welcome aboard. We carried our jacks on most trips to settle the Tacoma while in camp, unfortunately those Toyota springs just aren't stout enough to stop the truck from rocking around when you move about in the camper. Not a big deal to remove and store or to remount in about 15...
