    Which way do you sleep?

Our Ocelot is the 72" model and I am over 6ft so E/W doesn't work for me. It sure would be nice not to need the slide-out though.

    Which way do you sleep?

So, we were having a discussion the other day on how we sleep in our ATC Ocelot. My Wife and I sleep North /South with our feet to the front of the camper. Yes, I do drop my pillow the odd time. Now, my Daughter and SIL have slept in it a few times and they sleep with their heads to the front...

    19-21 Toyota Tundra Dbl Cab?

Thanks AWG. Once the seat is removed is there any kind of "sound deadening " left behind it? My Chev seat is a pain to remove and then I have to line the back with a kind of insulation or it's way too noisy.

    19-21 Toyota Tundra Dbl Cab?

For those of you with this yr Tundra , is it possible to just remove either the 1/3 or 2/3 section of the rear seat? Also, I see the antenna is rear centre of the cab. Do you re-locate it? Thanks.

You know you're a geezer when.......................

A couple summers ago I was following a pick-up in stop and go traffic through Cole Harbour ,N.S. On his ball hitch he had a rubber bass and every time he braked the fishes tail would flap. Ended up beside the Guy at a set of lights and we both had windows down and I said" I like the fish on your...

It is New Year's Eve 2022!

Last night was the first New Years Eve we had gone out in years. Our small town in Ontario, Canada had a kick-off dinner and dance for our upcoming homecoming in July. Months back they put 300 dinner and dance tickets and another 700 dance only tickets on sale and they sold out within 6hrs...

    Wandering from Tennessee to Alaska

Dave. If you are going to be in Valdez, consider the day cruise on the Lu-Lu Belle. Captain Fred gets that boat to places where I wondered how he"s getting out. But , that was the first week of June ,probably a bit different later in the summer.

    over the top commercial.

Have to agree, the best T.V. I've watched in a while too. The drone shots were amazing! She sure doesn't hold back on the throttle on the rough roads does she!

Question for some of you that travel Baja frequently. Where do you buy your truck/camper insurance? I can't remember where we bought ours last time.

    Wandering from Tennessee to Alaska

We did the Alaska trip this past summer . Took the trans Canada across the top of Superior as well but when we got to Winterpeg we got on 16 and took it over to Edmonton for a visit . After that we stayed on 16 over until we could hook up with the Cassier. The route north from Winnipeg would...

    support for camper

I travel fairly light with an ATC Ocelot shell and used Timbrens for the first 3 yrs I had our camper. Found the ride kinda rough so this past spring I installed some air bags before our summer trip to Alaska. All I can tell you is I should have went with the bags from the start. I can't imagine...

    Anyone heading to Baja?

Wango. If we decide to make the trip it will probably be around the time you are there. Its 2500 miles from home to Mexicali so we probably wouldn't have a set day to cross. Would really like to see that flatbed of yours!

    Anyone heading to Baja?

For us there usually isn't a whole lot of planning involved, we tend to wing it a lot. Since we are both retired, well kinda, we travel at our own pace with not much of a schedule. I will be watching the forum to see who might be there because it would be nice to meet some of you . ( maybe even...

    Anyone heading to Baja?

Wondering if anyone is planning a Baja trip this winter? We are thinking of heading out there around mid Feb or so. The only other time we were there was 4-5yrs ago after we picked up our ATC. That trip we just went a little further south than Mulege but would likely go further down this time. I...

    Alaska and more.

Your welcome Ski and Frank. A few more things to add. Of the 8 weeks , we stayed in campgrounds for 15 nights, for showers, laundry or just couldn't find a boon docking spot( or didn't want to bother looking) . Only once did we leave our boon docking spot after setting up. Just south of...

Left home , a couple hrs N/W of Toronto, on July 13th and drove some long days to get to Edmonton to visit one of my Sisters that I haven't seen for a few yrs. After a one night stop there we slowed it down some. Headed over to the...

    2019-2020 Tundra Double Cab ?

Thanks for the replies. Yes, the double cab is what I think of as an extended cab. I think Toyota calls their larger cab a Crew Max.

    Upper Peninsula / Lake Superior

Kinda late on this Dave and I have no idea where you are. We just returned from our trip last Wed . We used I-overlander because it was built into our new Garmin. We found it hard finding "wild" camping spots in Sask and Manitoba but once your into Ontario there are all kinds. As far as you...

Help set up my F150 for a FWC Hawk

Our ATC Ocelot is only on our Chevy 1/2 ton a few months a year. After using Timbrens for the first few years and after some discussion with JHanson and others here I decided to install a set of Timber Grove air bags on my 2020 Chevy Trail Boss. We just returned from a 21000 km trip which...
