I just bought some nice forged US made eyebolts from Copperstate bolt here in AZ. Don't think they have them there in NV but a similar place probably have them. Not too uncommon. Mcmaster-Carr is always an excellent choice.

Just to update this thread a bit... Still graduating in May. Will be working for the USGS and Northern Arizona Univeristy doing GIS/Remote sensing work for both organizations until start of August. After that I am a free man... Soooo I still want to try and pick up an older Eagle/Ranger...
