The team shown here before the "Exxon Valdez" landed on the rocks. :) I have to thank Wagoneer and Packrat who saved the day. The rotted floor snagged on the truck bed causing shifting and upheaval. Still, I call it a success since no windows broke, etc.

Wagoneer and Packrat stopping by with jacks. I'm planning to use this trailer as a platform to decide next step. 48" between wheel wells after removing the sides. Rated for 1200 lbs but I'm not planning to take it on the road...just easier to move about.

Hi Packrat, I don't have jacks. Is there a suggested substitute (kludge) for separating top/bottom? Any guess how heavy the top section is? I can use the roof rack to raise it. (?)

Thanks again! Are you able to see the condition of the latches without going to all the trouble of disassembling? If so, we can arrange a visit or I'll take aa photo. It is currently located in San Pablo.

:) :) I'll plan a camper salvage meetup in the next few months. (Unless I get a better offer) Probably over the Christmas - New Years break. Who knows how to separate the 2 halves? I guess once the interior is gutted, it's more or less obvious. Jay in Albany, CA

Thanks for the instructions PackRat. I'm now leaning toward parting it. :( But, not in a hurry to do so.
