Feeling good to be making continued progress! Finished the cabinetry (plastic protective coating still in place in the pictures throws off the color a bit). Counter top and sink to go in above the shorter side with two door and on the taller section is a compartment for the Coleman stove.

I stared at it on Craigslist for a couple days too and decided I wanted to see it and once I did started to image what it could be and that was that. Probably paid too much especially since when all said and done will only be using the aluminum frame, windows, and roof frame. Oh well, fun...

Finally had some time to get some work done this weekend. Floor pack is complete and installed. The bottom of the floor pack was primed and painted before it was completely assembled as it was easier to paint upside down. Made it super confusing on how I needed to cut the forward and aft...

For the frame repairs I used 0.060" aluminum which will still allow for some flex. Bolting straight to the box could work. Will have to see how things like when I finish the rest of new floor pack.

No plastic bed liner here, I have a spray-in liner. Was planning on using the existing bed tie downs but didn't know they weren't structurally sound enough to hold down a camper so thanks for the info! With a little searching, found how FWC recommends and so I will add some eyebolts to the bed...

Hopefully not too tight of a fit backing in! I think it will probably be ok.... I plan on using a similar attachment to the bed as Portercassidy, although I'd like to figure out some other way to attach other than an eyebolt as it seems like the nut and threaded end of the eyebolt took up a lot...

Thanks for the info! Apparently the newer models have a seal around the front edge of the camper so that seals between the roof and the top edge of the cabover so that when the top is down water cannot get in when driving. Someone had mentioned it in another post but I can't find it again and...

It can be removed with a plastic scraper and a lot of elbow grease. I've never used 3M 5200, but I would trust Proseal to bond a window in place with no fasteners and would be able to remove if I needed to. I've not built an airplane in terms of a homebuilt or anything like that but sure have...
