RV LIFE Multisite Forum, Wander The West Dimensions of the roll over couch.

Hi. I am sure this thread is dead but to revive an old one. I am thinking of making this now. We have been through a few permutations but my wife like this one best. I have rollover couch brackets and was going to build my own in our Grandby shell Making the front of the couch...

RV LIFE Multisite Forum, Wander The West Electrical question…

Yeah. I got the blue sea stuff. Fuse box 12v outlets andkill switches. I made room for a bigger inverter and a second BB battery. In the plan. Now I just need to build it out and wire it up. Panels and some of the hubs and such will be here tomorrow. I’m away most of next week but...

Yup. 100a till she dies lol. But I don’t anticipate using that thing much if ever. Not till I have different needs or a different setup. Cheers.

Thanks. Just looked it’s an older 750 watt. It’s wired in with 8 gauge now. But only a few inches from the battery. I was planning on 4 for this one. Larger if I go up to a better inverter later.

Thank you all for the thoughtful responses. Sorry this took so long but again life was in the way. I finally got a chance to hit the shell and look behind the wall panels. It looks as if the only things wired into the shell were the rear flood light. The fan. And the 3 ceiling...

Ok to clarify as the pictures didn’t end up in order. (I will try and do a better job posting them next time) the last picture is the back right exterior of the camper he has an older 4 prong solar input here that is wired straight through to the battery bank. ( Above that is the PVC vent for...

Yeah. I think they are marine 6v batteries wired together to make 12v. Could be flooded as he put a vent out of the battery box through the back of the camper wall. Just pvc. Again. This system will ultimately be replaced with a lithium set up. But I was hoping to “get by” for 6 months...

Ok. I had a few mins to look at the wiring. The main wire in from the plug goes immediately behind the original particle board. You can see that in picture 1. Also I’m picture 1 you can see smaller gauge orange and black wires leading to a switch and a 12v outlet. These appear to be...

Thanks so much. This makes sense for sure. I will look tomorrow. And see if I can follow the lines. The problem is the owner before built cabinets and put lots of the wiring behind and the cabinet for the battery is a bit of a rats nest. Thanks again for taking the time. I’ll take a...

I have a new to me 06 Grandby shell. All the aftermarket stuff runs off the battery bank. Heater, extra outlets, one side light. However the roof mounted lights and the fan which are factory seem to only run if I hook up my truck to the wiring harness. Does this mean that they will be...
