Do you mind if I ask you, do you have regular or tow mirrors? I am going to have a '08 Cougar on a '07 or '08 Tundra Reg Cab Long Box 4x4, and I am having difficulty determining between stock or tow mirrors. Thank you very much, Mike

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Why did you choose ATC over FWC

My main reason is expressed best by Clark Beattie of Santa Cruz, California on the ATC web site...You answered all of my questions and truly worked with me on the options that I needed, not just the ones that were for sale. #2 Ben's (and company) reputation as mentioned many many many times on...

As for the fridge, I wish I had a built in for my Engle/ARB. I also keep thinking about one of those, but since we are vegetarians, we would probably only have beer in it. The Engel MT17 (Outside Dims 21.2" x 12" x 14.2") might be able to fit in the ice box hole, BUT, at $594... really...

Both of the vents in my FWC are powered and I am very glad I got the front one. It's nice to have that breeze on a hot night and they're not that noisy on the low setting. When it gets too cool the fan can be turned off without getting out of bed. GREAT, thanks for that info! I thought about...

From my short experience, I would recommend a second jack drill adapter. We just ordered one so two legs can be lowered/raised in sync. Good idea! A couple of observations: since the popup part has ample windows, a small drivers side window might be an expense worth saving? I don't have one...

Even though I do not need the Cougar until June 1, 2008, I have talked extensively with Ben about configuring a Cougar before the price increase Sept 1, 2007. Cougar with... NO ICE BOX, just a positive latch door for extra storage Furnace Power Roof Vent over Front Bed Front Sliding Window...

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Tundra Reg Cab with Cougar "extended bed"

I assume you mean the width, so as it doesn't block your side view mirrors? My bobcat is the same width and with the jacks off, it view is just fine. No, I was very concerned about the 48" extended bed sticking way over the front windshield. Ben said, the real problem would be hitting my head...

I suggest driving both before deciding. Just my opinon. Good luck. Do you think I can find a car dealer than would allow me to fill the long bed with firewood to see how it handles with a load? Also, I have worked with four Toyota dealers to find a Reg Cab Long Bed 5.7L and they searched...

I have used it often in 90 degree plus heat. I usually restock it with beer in the morning and by afternoon they are refreshingly cool. About how cool is cool? If it is "90 degree plus", is the beer temp 40 degrees less = 50 degrees? Or, worded another way, does the refrig only lower the...

Great spreadsheet, BUT, FWC had a price increase July 16, 2007. (FYI: ATC will have a price increase Sept 1, 2007) It is possible to copy/paste that Google spreadsheet into a regular Excel spreadsheet. It just takes some minor tweaking to fix formatting, etc. The FWC refrig is 2.0 cuft (not...
