RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Tore Out Mounting Tiedown on Camper

I'd like to see you pull that one out. Clean looking fix you have there. Well, I got my materials together for a day to pull the camper and fix the mounts. Overall went well outside of limited access on the driver rear spot. FWC manage to mount the power converter over top the bolt. I ended...

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West California State Parks closing

Bringing these parks back may depend on costs to put them back on line. Day to day maintenance at these facilities will probably be non existent. If the costs are excessive they may be decommissioned as parks if other funding/sponsors are not available.

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Building a back porch

Sometime I carry my dual sport on a rack behind the bumper but never feel great confidence in how secure it is. Weighs about 350#. I'm thinking of having something better fabricated, use at least two receiver tubes. Maybe even a third would be my existing receiver that would extend to the end...

X2! There are lots of great people on this site. Thanks to the many that have helped me in the past. This entire thread has me racking my brain and thinking about the electrical system in my Hawk. This thread prompted me to add a fuse to the FWC wiring from the battery seperater to the house...

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West ELECTRONIC MELTDOWN

Thanks Dick, I'm going to go see the the company that did the shoddy job in the first place, I'll get them to replace it. I think I've also found the reason the lights aren't working. After checking behind the front panels as Leadsled suggested and not seeing anything, I also took the whole...

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West WTW Official Statement on Advocacy

I also do a clean up for others when breaking camp but I'll tell you it seems to be a losing battle lately. It's discouraging but I'd hate to see the back country if I stop.

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West ELECTRONIC MELTDOWN

I think you maybe lucky and only have a bad feed to the camper. On the rewire I would put a thermal breaker no further than 12" from the battery to the camper.
