Hopefully someone with direct experience with a Six-Pac camper will comment. In the meantime.... Some interesting background info from 2007 ---> Truck Camper Magazine article: Four Wheel, Six Pac, and One Man Also: I recently ran onto this ---> There's still a Six-Pac web site with manuals...

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West That's different: Alu-Cab Khaya and Kimbo camper tie down systems

Thanks for the detail, roverjohn. I was wondering exactly that-- whether you run any straps front-to-back. The other detail is very helpful for us in thinking about how the setup would work for our individual rigs and what that would mean during loading and unloading. Appreciate it! .

roverjohn--- I'm not sure what you mean by 'spread the load around'. Could you explain? Any other lessons-learned from your experience? (Preferred strap or ratchet designs, rated-strength numbers, fitting or tensioning, tips for releasing the ratchet under load, etc) .

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Victron install

I believe the most common problem is exceeding the 500K-per-post limit for photos (that's per post, not per photo). The trick is re-sizing photos so you don't exceed that limit. Unfortunately, resizing works differently on the various operating systems and may not be easy. (If you happen to be...

Renogy's DC-to-DC charger as reviewed in the video below looks very interesting --- 20 and 40 amp models, lead-acid and lithium battery charging profile selections by DIP switch, temperature compensation (option), relatively inexpensive. Hopefully we'll be seeing user experiences with it...

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West 2018 Palomino SS550

Welcome to Wander the West, laherro! Yeah, weight is always an issue. Can I ask what engine and wheelbase you have in the F150? I was just looking at this 2014 F150 specs chart and it looks like the V6 Supercab 4x4 has a payload in the 1500 range but others are significantly higher... .

That's great! I hope it works out well for you, Leo. And I hope you won't be shy about telling us both the good and the less-than-great things about the SS500 as you gain experience with it. Your opinion is especially important here on WTW given your experience with your Eagle. I'm very...

Fred, if you've not run through the troubleshooting chart in the N300 LP Mode Troubleshooting Service Bulletin, I'd give it a shot. Note that you'll need to keep the gas safety valve pressed in to maintain flame during the tests. You know, come to think of it, I wonder if pressing that gas...

Sorry to see it's fighting you, Fred. Does it do the same thing on the old regulator? I don't think I'd mess with adjusting the new regulator without a measurement. I guess you could keep track of exactly how much you adjust the screw but that could be easy to lose track of if you're not...

No, sorry, we didn't camp near there. We had stayed in Labrador City the night before and that put us in that area at mid-day. 'WIld' is almost an understatement for that crater. 214 million years ago. Meteor 3 miles across. Crater 60 miles across. The fireball from it reportedly went as far...

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Another refrigerator problem thread. Not propane though.

I'm not finding a manual specifically saying it applies to the CR1110. Does yours have...
