RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Roof screws question

3M 4200 sealant a month ago. I pulled the roof rack off and found a few mis-drilled holes that for sure were the leak points. Sealed up every screw under and on top of the screw on the roof while up there and no more leaks and I have been in 3-4 heavy downpours since.

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West 2000 FWC Hawk build

I have a 2000 Hawk as well. I'll post a few of the stickers on mine still in OK shape. I have one of those vinyl cutters and was planning on making new FWC stickers some time. Also my Hawk has the foam on that top rail all the way around still in OK shape, just a little gummy or sticky...

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Older FWC exterior storm or rain flaps

I have read a lot about the older flaps and I like them. I have some light support metal bent up so I can open and lower the flaps WITHOUT a ladder. That was really the only drawback for me, opening them up. I can leave them rolled up all the time if I want to and even close the top. I also...

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Insuring a FWC through USAA

And I did not name the RV on the policy, Progressive had a drop down menu for Four Wheel then Hawk then it said 6.5 bed. So they have it in there system already! When answering the questions as I went through Progressive did ask the agreed value but this looks to be actual cash value so I...

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Insuring a FWC through USAA

After reading this tread I went to Progressive online and took about 5 min. to get the quote attached. It covers my 2000 Hawk for ACV that I set at $9000 for $173 per year with low 250/250 deductible. Could not have been any easier! Before I buy the separate policy what do you think, missing...
