RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Bobcat with Dinette

How about making the boxes the same height as the window sill, then making a cushion that would fit on the sill lengthwise. That way when made into a bed the width would be an additional six inches or so.

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Hallmark La Veta

Thoughts on how this would compare to FWC or ATC? Seems to compare well. Granted has the potential to be heavier because of water capacity, but dry weight is only 100 pounds more than the FWC Eagle.

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Building a camper

Using the pics on this website as an example, http://homepage.mac.com/rasti/PhotoAlbum3.html I would move the galley forward (refer to the very front), putting the dinette at the back of the truck. I would attach the dinette table to the galley counter doing double duty as an extension of the...

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Which Refer, Gas or Elec, Solar System?

From what I've gleaned from prior postings, 3 way refrigerators sound like a PITA. I am going to get a solar system either way I go. Does it make sense to get the 3 way and primarily use electric and propane occasionally, or go electric all the way? Are all electric refrigeators more efficient...

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West The Alaskan Mini

I like the design though, with the weight in the center of the truck. Lots of possibilities with a FWC/ATC shell. Would provide for a more spacious dinette with I think a much more open feeling, especially if you had windows on either side.

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Ranger of Eagle for Tacoma/Frontier

I believe you can mount either on a Tacoma or Frontier truck. The Ranger is 8feet long and weighs 780 pounds, while the Eagle is 6.5 feet and weighs 690 pounds. The Ranger costs $200 more. Seems like Ranger would be the more logical choice. Any thoughts? thanks.

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Galley Question

From what I've seen in picutres and read on the forum, it seems that quite a few of you cook outside, and use the camper mostly for sleeping. If that were the case, would it be better use of space, to order the shell model, and customize the space yourself? No space for cooking, maybe order a...

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Long Bed Camper on Short Bed

Sent this to Four Wheel Camper (fwc@fourwh.com) but have not recieved a response, so I'll ask here. On their website in FAQ, they say you can put a long bed camper on a short bed truck, by using the tailgate. Would a FWC Ranger camper fit on a Tacoma or Frontier? Also I've read about the FWC...
