Everybody is overweight with the tundra, I don’t worry at all being 1000 pounds or do over With the two extra leaf springs I installed, the truck handles just like a 1 ton

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Anyone using FWC Hawk in a 5.5 or 5.8 bed?

get the 6.6 bed, otherwise the camper hangs out, I don’t think that’s a good idea, I did tons of research, everything came back to Tundra Limited, I can say I’m extremely happy with my setup

i installed a flexible panel I got off Amazon for $109, $19 controller, but 100 Watts is not enough, going to buy a second one, and new batteries, no sun in the South West this winter, killed my batteries

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West FWC solar connector

thank you Russ, I did figure it out, I do have a meter, in the end I ended up wiring it backwards of course, so I reversed it and everything worked fine, four wheel campers wired it up the opposite on the roof opposed to the side door connector, no idea why

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Hawk solar installed, everything working great (so far)

100 watt flat flexible solar panel, 20AMP controller, box of connectors, $200 from Amazon, 2 year warranty, I used 3M 10LB mounting tape all around The edges and through the middle, leaving gaps all along for water to get in and get out, so condensation would not build up and cause a big...
