RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West FWC Fiamma Awning

we really made a mistake or 2 before we left, should have left the 4 jacks at home, 120 lbs, awning another 120 lbs, that alone would have made a huge difference, running with empty water is also 200 lbs, we are learning as we go alone, this group has been VERY helpful!!!!

there is no stock sway bar, you can buy a TRD sway bar, as an ad—on, which is what I did, if it’s still bad I’ll look into a Helrig sway bar

I Will never turn rotors again, they’re too thin after you turn them and they warp easily, new rotors are not that expensive, I will buy brand new rotors and the hawk LTS pads, and of course bed them in properly

OK everybody I finally did it, I separated the two airbags, with two air fillers and separate lines, one side needed 15 more pounds to bring it up to even, I went to 40 inches from the ground to the middle of the fender, about 2 inches higher than the front of the vehicle, I might go down to 39...

thanks so much for this reply, so far my factory rotors from Toyota are not warped, and holding up well, but my braking ability seems to be weak, it has to be my stock pads, I’m going to buy the Hawk LTS and see if my braking is better

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West What Brand is the 160 watt Solar Panel FWC Provides?

I am thinking of installing 150 W or so of flexible solar, due to weight concerns, ridged panels are way too heavy, I’m overweight already, does anybody have a suggestion for brands, I want the ones that stick on the roof, very low profile and very lightweight

airbags were installed before I added 2 leaf springs, I’m going to separate the airbags so I can adjust for weight differences on left and right side, airbags are not as critical now with the new springs, before the new leaf springs I was much lower on the back end
