RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Granville on a F150?

Thanx Paul. That pull out may be the best solution. I would prefer gravity in a larger hose to the outside of the camper but your suggestion is a plan B workaround for me. Good looking Raven!

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Granville on a F150?

Thanks for the reply. But my problem isn't with the faucet & pump. It works fine. We usually cook outside the camper and the sink faucet is so confined that it doesn't allow for filling a large container to use outside.

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West It only takes one to wreck it for everyone.‏

While I am not familiar with the particular area you describe, I have run into many "Day Use Only" signs where dispersed camping used to be . I dug a little deeper and found out it is because the USFS and BLM and the parks are privatizing the campgrounds and in order for the "concessionaires"...

The fawcett is above the sink where there isn't room to fill a large container. That is the main issue.

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Granville on a F150?

I posted the above in april and got ZERO replies. Is every 4WD owner OK with 1/2 gal. per min? I carry a 6 gallon jug full just to have ready access to a better quantity of water. It seems like there should be a way to get more of the 22 gallons out quicker, say 2-3 gallons a min.??

My 2014 F-150 , Supercab, 8ft bed , 5.4L , with payload pkg, hauls the loaded 2014 Grandby just fine - including some steep, rough 4-wheeling tracks as well as coast to coast hwy travel.

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Pin holes in my Pop Up Material?

The fabric on my 2014 Grandby has become discolored black from the strips of rubberized material used to seal the edge of the material. I have used the recommended Aerotech 303 cleaner but it doesn't work to remove the black smears. So far no holes , thankfully. What is the cost of replacing...

Any suggestions to lube or adjust plastic hinges on 2014 Grandby door? Hours of lubing , atempting to adjust equals no help. Real loud.

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West 2nd broken turnbuckle connection

I've had no failures on my 2014 Grandby but after some (more) real rough roads I checked and the front passenger side turnbuckle was loose. I think any looseness will allow jerking that might break a bolt. I am more worried about the underside washer jerking upward against the truck bed. That...

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Buyers regret?

The front dinette table is handy because it is so adjustable. It swings around to offer space top either side foa a person to move out from the seat or to give room to crawl up into the bed. The height is also adjustable. The table is supported from underneath at a single, central point...

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Granville on a F150?

I have the Grandby on my 2014 F-150, Super cab (not crew) and 8 ft bed with extra payload package and the 5.0L V-8 . The setup handles just fine and gets 16 MPG . For the configuration of medium cab and 8 ft bed I had to wait for a while as the combo isn't too popular and required a special...

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West 4 days on The Devil's Hiway

El Comino del Diablo from Ajo to near Yuma, Arizona, is about 100 miles , quite a bit 4-wheeling track. The La Playas at about the 50th mile is a 1 1/4 mile mudpie after a rain. The Grandby , MOBY DICK, looked like it had been dipped in chocolate. So much Border Patrol traffic that the...

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West truck backseat removal - big job

I paid Ford $178 to take out the back seat of my 2014 F-150, supercab, longbed. Now I would like to reinstall just the small section of the seat - for the grandchild. I am concerned my body shop will be reluctant because of possible legal liability issues with seatbelts, and secure fasteners...

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West options I would like to see

I have been pleased to find discussion of modifications and problem solving on this forum. But when it becomes a flat out defense of Four Wheel and criticisms of existing products are bashed, the forum becomes censored and far less useful. As to the advice to go to FWC vendors for adjustments...

My enthusiasm for getting a solar retrofit from FWC is reduced by these reports . I hope to hear more news that FWC is all over this.

The news about Zamp difficulty gets my atention because I'm about to order a retrofit for my Grandby. I will sure check back to see how the assistance from FWC comes through.

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West FWC gas strut recall

It would have been nice to receive notice of this "recall" or repair notice directly from the Four Wheel company instead of having to come across it in the media by accident!
