I was lucky and got a camera from a wreck at the local JY for $50 it had the harness too :) BUT mine (2009) was mounted in the tailgate handle and kind of aimed down. I need to see if I can make a more professional mount... wish your friend was in TX ;) :)

I have a superduty but have airbags just in case. I usually run 50 each on road and go down to 10 ea off road. I use them a lot to balance when parked and the wireless controller is a big plus. Heck I'm not even sure I can go to 75 as 60 is the most I've tried.

I'm Old too ;) I HIGHLY RECOMMEND that you get the gas struts ASAP you will be pleasantly surprised. I really could not imagine lifting mine without!

I saw this setup in a Tiger. Looks nice and that owner gave it props. I wonder how / if it would work with an FWC Hawk? Is there enough space to lower top?
