Yep - a homebuild. It is downspouting for the body. The reel end and the caps I fabricated with epoxy. Lined it inside with closed cell foam (minicell). I was going to use something other than the downspout but noticed the ridges in the spout and ridges in the metal sheeting on the Fleet...

Added this to the exterior.......

Easy add on for long items..... vinyl fencepost cover from home d.. Has locking caps.

Didn't realize it was/has happened to others. This is a 2017 camper. Looks like some locktight may have prevented the problem.

Anyone have problems with their door lock? Referring to the mechanism that is built into the door, not the deadbolt. Mine has a red handle on the inside. We had a situation where the locking mechanism got loose inside and were unable to unlock the door. Fortunately happened when two people...

One thing I do wish had been done on the jack brackets...... in case anyone from FWC is lurking..... round off the bottom corner. I can't see a reason for them to be a 90 degree point. They hurt when you back into them or stand up under one...... don't ask..... ;-) I would grind them off...

Anyone have a strong recommendation on their favorite cookset for two? It's nice to be able to drag along whatever in the camper but also thinking some sort of dedicated nesting set might be a little easier for storage, etc.. This would be just for the camper, not backpacking. Thanks

Brover thanks for posting. Looks perfect. I am guessing one hose is pulling air out and the other pumping in. Would there be any advantage to running the "in" line to dump into one of the roof vents? Beats having a portable unit inside and like you said, not a perm install.

Found some cool lights that I mounted on the outside using velcro. I remove them when driving. The ones I got from Home D have a dim light that shines when dark and then when it detects motion it has a much brighter display. Worked nice when coming out of the woods from hunting. I could see...

I am hesitant to list those because I anticipate they may vary. Once I got ahold of the service guys they were open about where they thought I should drill. I did find both wires which were capped and duct taped to the metal frame. It wasn't a big deal once I moved past the idea of drilling...

Talked with FWC today. White hooks are just for packaging while shipping. They use the hooks along with a zip tie to keep the vents from opening while in transit. Sometimes when campers are loaded they are faced backwards going down the highway, a vent coming open would be a bad thing.

Green wire does have a section for a switch so it is not a direct feed from the distribution panel / fuse box. I found the two leads where a switch can be added.

Any other pictures of that set up?

AdvMoto18 - Bill - did you pull the radio and look at the back? Guessing there is a video on youtube somewhere to show how. If you can find the plug it may not be a big problem. I did mine on a 2015 and found an adapter (earlier post) to get the new cable to connect.

FWC gave me measurements for drilling a hole that exposed the wires in each corner. Unfortunately it doesn't seem like they are a direct feed, no continuity to the main panel. I am guessing there is a spot for a switch to be added. Still trying to figure that out. They are always really busy...
