Chased a used Hawk for a year until the week before placing my order for a new one , I scored mine. The common scenario was the ad's only been up for 4 hours and there are 5 people in line and the guy in the 1st spot is driving from 1000 miles away with cash in hand. Persistence and patience...

Question for you guys that use your furnace, I've never really felt comfortable running it because I just don't know the safe way to operate it. I've searched the web and mostly come up with "trouble shooting" info. Power draw and noise notwithstanding. Is it safe to run the atwood furnace...

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West options list for new Hawk, opinions? thoughts?

I have a Hawk camper that I purchased used so my decisions were made already by the original owner. I have rear flood lights (i've upgraded them to LED) I rarely use them and could probably get by w/o them. (ask if the camper gets pre-wired in the event you'd like to add them yourself later)...

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Roof penetration(solar wiring)

One red and one black wire , the other end was coiled up in the cabinet that holds the water tank ( side dinette layout) . My camper came with an external solar plug and that was also coiled in the water tank cabinet Sent from my LG-H810 using Wander The West mobile app

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Roof penetration(solar wiring)

I've done some searching and didn't find much on how you guys handled the wire run thru the roof . I bought this one but now a little concerned about making the 90° turn into the interior of the camper . Chafing the cable over time even if protected is my primary concern. What do you end...
