RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Roof Leak

This is where I suspect the roof leak is. I peeled off the old dicor sealant, tightened the roof screws, replaced 3 that wouldn’t tighten with size bigger screw and resealed with 3m marine sealer. Haven’t tested out for leaks yet.

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Roof Leak

Thanks for that tip. In tightening the screws I discovered 2 that won’t tighten and seem stripped in the very spot I suspect the leak. Now I have a new problem. What’s the best way to fix a stripped screw in this situation. Does the toothpick trick work in this case? Maybe a longer screw?

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Roof Leak

I have a 2005 FWC that has roof leak. Started small and only when roof latched. Now has started dripping into camper in rain when roof up. I can’t see anything obvious on roof. I have resealed seam around roof edge and roof bolts. Any ideas for how to fix this?

I have a 2006 Tundra. Have been looking and learning over the winter months. Also would consider an ATC. If you can no longer use your camper and want to pass on the traveling karma, please contact me. Close by is good but I'm willing to travel. Thanks! Christine

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Want to buy truck with camper in Colorado

I'm looking for a Toyota Tundra or Tacoma truck with camper, not necessarily a pop-up, in or near Colorado. Needs to be in good shape, reliable and not a fixer upper. Price range $15,000 to $20,000. If you are not able to respond on WTW you can text - 970-275-4085. Thanks!!
