HI EP34FR, While I don't have a 4WC (yet) I do own a 2017 Ram Rebel 1500. Mine will never have a 4WC on it as it has the Rambox...but I've always understood that the factory air suspension is not a good match for a payload like a truck camper. As you noted the max payload is 1075lbs...

I've been researching heavily over the last year or so...and will be in the market in the next couple years (retirement). I'm a Ram fan...so will be upgrading from my 2017 Rebel. The PW is one I'm looking at. It's been mentioned...the payload is low due to the off road capabilities of the PW...

First time poster, been lurking for awhile. Good luck with the FWC and build! Just wanted to mention that the Power Wagon, while a great vehicle, has a lower payload rating than the regular 2500's. Just beware. Some of the PW's are in the 1350lbs payload range. While having a FWC should...
