RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West New Stage in Life - camping with a baby. Need Sleeping ideas

Here is a pack 'n' play setup in our Hawk. We have the front dinette option. We just took out the table for a while and have this setup for the time being. This allows us to get him down for a nap and more importantly, we can put him to bed at night and have a couple hours of quiet/fire time...

Congrats on the Tundra! You're going to love it. We just picked up a new Hawk shell with the front dinette for our gen 1 tundra. Our truck handles the shell great with e rated bfg ko tires and Firestone ride-rite airbags. The front dinette gives us tons of space. It's a nice symmetrical layout...

Great looking trip and photos. Those first few shots look like they were taken on a different planet. Is it a bike trail or a road? haha. Gonna be fun when you have to ask that question :)

Congrats on the maiden voyage. Yup, I set off our fire alarm this last Thrusday after pick up on Tuesday the 14th. I ran it for a couple hours and then spent the night in it Saturday. Smelled fine when I used it Saturday night. That alarm is no joke. My ears are still ringing!

You can leave the vent open. I sometimes leave the vent open and crack the side window a bit when the weather is nice. Just remember to close it before it rains or in dusty areas. Thanks! I will try that if we need to run our dog back there during transit. Cole, what a wonderful story and...

Thanks for all of the congrats everyone. Love your enthusiasm, Cole. You got the camper at a perfect time for many family adventures. Did you get a roof vent option? I used to transport our lab in the back on my Hawk, and she did pretty well back there. I have one fantastic fan roof vent...

Ok, with the camper installed, Kirk ran through the camper with me. It was pretty straight forward as we ordered the shell with only a few important options for us. After the walk through, I said goodbye to Kirk and headed off with our new camper. No offense to Medford as it seems like a nice...
