RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Getting on Roof?

I have an ‘07 Hawk and had to do some work on my roof vent and reseal my roof. I used an old blanket and a 4’x4’ sheet of plywood to distribute my weight.

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Backup camera

I bought a used OEM back up tailgate camera for my Ram on eBay, and it was plug and play. I had to make a bracket, but it was fairly easy to make and install. There’s a 4 prong connector camera for a Tacoma that might work on eBay. Item #122390154691

The ice box measures 21-1/2” H x 19-1/2” W x 16” D. The foam covered portion is approximately 20” x 17-1/4” x 14-1/8” It’s not perfect but in good to very good shape overall, and comes with the ice tray. I have no idea how much to ask, but would take $35. I wouldn’t be able to ship it until...

Andy Douglass - Another option is to find a factory tailgate camera with the harness. I got mine used off of eBay. The camera is approximately 2” x 2”, and I made a simple bracket and mounted it up under the camper, where it is out of the way. It sits lower, but still higher than the license...

I’m interested. Would you be willing to hold it for me until Saturday? If you could, I would drive over from the east side and remove it and take it away - for a reasonable agreed upon price. I’ve got the tools and my truck. PM me if this will work and we can make arrangements. Thanks, EDR

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West 1/2 ton or 3/4 ton, what are most people using for their FWC?

My last truck was an ‘06 Ram 2500 Mega Cab that was my daily driver and was used to haul my loaded Hawk for about 6 months out of the year. It did great, but I got fed up with the diesel fuel mileage and stiff ride without the camper. I wanted a newer truck with all the latest creature comforts...
