RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Ca. Hwy 93 Salmon River Rd. TERRIFIC!

While out wandering N.W.ern Ca. last week. I chanced down one of the best roads I driven in a long time. Mind you, I've wandered the west for 45 years. Anyway, I drove the 93 from the Big Foot Hwy. 96 out to Hwy 3. The first half of the road was terrific and about 30 miles to Cecilville. One...

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West The new coffee thread

40+ years I've been drinking coffee with cream. I liked the brewing process and pretty sure I've tried every which way over the years. Pour over, has been my preferred method the last half dozen years or so. New to me, I've been cold brewing last several weeks. What a difference and it's my...

If it's something you want to take apart again use silicone. Also use it fitting the drain in the sink, much better than putty.

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West If You Could Live Anywhere...

Enjoyed four seasons for 24 years in Spokane, Wa. Loved exploring the PNW. But having seasoned, the 3-4 months of winter cold became too much. So like the saying goes, if you can't stand the heat get out of the kitchen or in my case the freezer. I'm in Carpinteria, Ca. now. It's mostly about...

I had an air bag failure which was going to strand me in Montrose,Co. a few days waiting for a replacement bag. I opted for same day repairs by dumping the bags and having a Roadmaster Active Suspension installed. I'm not going back to air bags. IMHO, Rubber is fine for tires but not as a major...

I blew a bag on one side and a shock on the other. I was finishing the Imogene Pass trail in Colorado and had just completed the Ophir Pass. RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Im new! whats the deal with airbags

I would say stay away from air bags. They work but are prone to failure and when they do, you will have a hard time getting a replacement during a trip. Just happened to me. I now have a Roadmaster Active Suspension assist on my rig. More money but i think a better product.
