I had already tried 3in1 for a couple days but I'll try again.
yea, and grinding off the heads won't help, the shafts will still keep the screen from sliding out.
Where'd the post go suggesting that?
oh well guess she deleted it.. thanks though
thanks for the commiseration rusty.. I feel better.
yea new screens is on the list but the screws holding them in are blobs of rust..
Drilling out screws is way down the list at the moment
could they be very tiny guides?
If they bolt to the wall they must be stationary and move with the raise and lower of the lid whereas the interior guides don't move.
Or they're like a giant washer to hold the exterior guide in place.
It looks likes like the floor dropped
I'd check for square to make sure it's not the right side drooping.
I had a trailer with the door all cattywompus..pulled the jam and one side was punched into the floor.
I looked on the roof and a branch had knocked the whole side of the frame down an inch...
ordered lights off ebay. Now next on the list is water and a sink. Ideally I'd like a setup like my old six pac had. Water storage under the camper along the side, electric water pump, sink with drain leading out. And some kind of heating device to make coffee, not cook just boil water. I'm...
old thread gary..
I just tried to duplicate your problem by covering up that hole on top of the pump when i lowered it.
It lowered but oil came out the plunger part of the handle. Maybe your aperture has enough of a blockage to slow the lowering.
now I'm looking for battery operated lights.. I have the original interior ceiling light but don't want to run loose wires to it and no way I'm pulling off the paneling. I fried the wires a couple weeks ago, and when I pulled them out it didn't occur to me to tie a new one to the end of the...
and.. I returned a little sink I bought for it..too big. I cut a table and a table stand and
made a wood cover for the oil lines on the floor.
I knocked out that storage box on the floor and used it. Painted the edges and just lacquered them,
now airing it out.
and I decided to wax that new paint on the roof and found a tiny chip already..Imma keep an eye on it.
Did I mention I blew up a battery?..Well, not the whole battery just both posts.. I filed the posts and used a punch to open up the bolt holes. Seems to be working.. So I have now added fuses...
bought some foam a couple days ago.. 2'X8'X3"
Checking into upholstery estimates. I'm not sure what's reasonable.
Got one estimate today, I'll get a couple more tomorrow to compare.
and I fried a wire.. I thought that staple looked a little too tight. Note to self: don't staple wires in place.
So after sanding the scorch marks I'm now going to reseal and hope the burnt plastic smell hasn't penetrated anything else.
Curtains no smell, foam good..hope i got lucky.
I'm going...
