    I ended up mounting to the bottom of the camper into the wood. I used the factory lag hardware. Time will tell how it holds up. Thanks for the help team I appreciate your input

    http://www.waytekwire.com/datasheet/80000.pdf Bill is correct. The wire with the grey cover should lead outside (to truck) the black wire should connect to the spade terminal

    I had that exact one and returned it to amazon. It cracked when I stepped down on it. I'm 200 lbs. I ordered the torklift glow steps. I was trying to decide on mounting on the rear wall or under the camper.

    Another thing to consider is if you can access your spare tire with the tailgate down. On my tundra I can not.

    The roofs are rated for something like 1000 static pounds. That's far beyond the specs for any load bars. I have not seen or heard of the roof bowing with a "normal" load up top regardless of the size of track.
