RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Checking Iota charging with shore power

Yes the kill switch was pulled out. I traced wire from Iota to fuse panel. It’s connected right next to battery wire at top of panel, so I think they are interlinked. Both wires had power when kill switch pulled out. I need to check power out of Iota. I’ve heard power will be less than 12 volts...

Thanks Ckent for your info. The AGM battery is a three stage charge. After watching a blog, video, I learned that the Victron Smart Controller app, under History shows a Graph with a 3 stage charging profile, indicated by the 3 different color tones on the Graph. I believe the white tone is bulk...

I'll call lifeline on Monday. There website says a 3 STAGE CHARGING is suggested. But my MPPT shows only a aborbtion and float specs. The bulk rate and absorbtion are the same 14.4 volts, maybe that WHY the bulk rate doesn't show on the MPPT.Thanks for the help Vic. Rich

Hi Guys. My solar system is complete now. I have an ALI Battery monitor. It's kind of basic compared to the Victron unit. I've set perimeters for 220 AH, 100% charge, assuming I have fully charged batteries. How do I actually know if there fully charged? ..... My Victron MPPT Smart controller...

Ok. I'm so close. MPPT negative to negative buss bar. The inverter has an external switch. Do I still need a kill switch? The original FWC kill switch , still works off the camper battery connection.

Thanks guys for the info. I've got all the parts now. I've removed some cabinetry to get to the 1314 surepower. Yes Ruck and Roll, it is the surepower I'm replacing and not the Iota. There are two terminals on the surepower for each of the two battery's, truck and camper. I'm removing the truck...

I'm in the process of switching out my 2008 FWC iotato to a blue sea # 7622 ARC. Does the + wire from the iota go to house terminal of the ARC? Does the truck battery wire relocate to the other terminal of the ARC? There is also a plug end from the iota , that I assume plugs into the...
