I was concerned about this with our lab who always rides in the camper. I secured the latch with a twisted loop of bailing wire that is easy enough to remove quickly if needed. Six years now and never had a problem. So glad your dog is OK and back home.

I've gone as low as 20 psi in deep fine sand in AZ. At 25 psi we were stuck, dropping to 20 we drove out no problem and then aired up. I usually run 40-45 psi on pavement.

Are all the Renogy panel failures the flat flexible panels. Anyone have a failure with the aluminum framed ones?

I agree, read handybob. I'd start with one panel (100w) and one battery. You can always add more if necessary.

I agree with nt on this, I'd replace all the turnbuckles. Don't know what you have up there but I got forged Tbuckles from Fastenal.

Fastenal has a great selection of turnbuckles, I used these drop forged ones and they have never loosened or failed in any way...
