Used inReach on a recent trip to eastern Nevada paired with a Samsung tablet, worked well. With the "free" preset messages I was able to keep family aware of my location and route. Pay ($0.50 each with my plan) messages also went well when necessary using the tablet to compose. Bill

Ah yes, been there, done that. I installed a digital readout voltmeter that is on only when the main power switch is "on." Also, it can be seen from the truck cab rear view mirror when underway, I can be sure that the camper body battery is being charged that way. Bill
