Thanks, it seems if you are gentle and don't use a "shop vac" it would last a little longer.

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Wave 6

I have 3 very hairy fur babies and a wave6 , in tight quarters. I keep the heater covered pretty well but the last few days I've been leaving the heat on low pretty much full time the last couple days. I'm probably over cautious but can I somehow clean dog hair and dust from the mat fabric...

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Thinking About Replacing The Ranger

Sage, I was in your boat two years ago with Eagle/Ranger combo. Don't know what your budget is but, Being older and fixed income no way can afford anything new. I have always been a Ford owner, so I kinda know what to expect from the older generation of F-150. Along my travels I met a wonderful...

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Fresh water capacity

Was curious about the fresh water capacity in my 05' Eagle Only reference I found was for a 2011 Eagle with 20gal capacity. Does anyone know if this is correct and is it the same for all Eagles built? Thanks, Mickey

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Coffee maker?

Love to see so many coffee junkies,I'm not seeing a lot of consensus but many many ways to to make our elixir. My $0.2 press or cowboy, both are good for me. Fortunately my taste buds are not particularly snooty,I just keep adding grounds till I get the desired affect. speaking of which I'll...

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Am I out of luck with 1,200 lbs of payload?

Imho, I like many/most 1/2 ton trucks carrying any kind of slide in campers are at/over gvw. The best thing to do in our case is beef up suspension and respect the weight.

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West F150 with a 2150 lb payload for a Hawk

I have a 99'150 with oem tow pkg 4/1 springs and ride rites pretty much rebuilt drive train, not sure what that means exactly as far as payload, looked everywhere and nobody can say for sure. Anyway, 05' Eagle only thing I don't have is solar. County weighed 1190 lbs. Add two medium dogs, wife...

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Realigning the camper?

This ^^ I did the same, 2x4's screwed to the camper at the wheel well's then tighten the front/rear turn buckles accordingly while lowering. This on a Eagle with inside bed eyebolts.

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Hi Lift Jack FWC

Interesting topic. To the op, for me it's not about lifting it's the towing capabilities of the Hi lift. Bottle jacks and floor Jack's are fine for changing a tire or whatever. But, when you're stuck up to the axles they're worthless. Bring on the Hi lift to pull you forward or back... Poor...

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West FWC Camper Weight

Interesting, pretty much everyone with a full size 1/2 ton down to a small/midsize truck is over gvw. I'm curious if, we were to be in an accident, whether we caused or not the insurance company could wiggle out of a claim.?

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West long term storage advise needed

I'm a little curious about leaving in the down position over winter in Sub-Zero temps,is it damaging to the vinyl? I clean and 303 protect it before I store for the long sleep.

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Which Cheap Camper(s) are Good Options for a 1st Gen Tacoma (6' Bed)

To the op, with a limited budget, might be a good idea to guesstimate what you will carrying and spend part of the"limited budget" on suspension upgrade.i would imagine your tires would need an upgrade also. I am not assuming anything, most of us started with the same process.

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West truck/camper combo advice/opinions.

To the op, what is more important in the long run, mpgs, or comfort? You won't be taking any $ with you for the big sleep. But you can convince yourself to get a nice new truck and camper. it's only $.
