RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Couch or dinette on Hawk?

You really need to sit in both to see how each works for you. We got the couch in our 2010 Hawk after checking out the dinnette. We sit (and eat) outside whenever possible. When inside we don't need a table. As a matter of fact, the table and base (POS/PIA) went to Goodwill about a month after...

We are very happy with our '10 Hawk picked up in Woodland in March. Excellent advice someone gave to spend extra time near Woodland to make sure everything is good to go. We made a return trip and problems were fixed right away, thanks to great customer service. We are glad we got the couch. It...

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Overtightened Turnbuckles On Hawk Eyebolts-Damn!

Just how tight are the eyebolts supposed to be? I admit to being an over-torquer and don't want to be in the position of having to ask for advice on fixing these in the future. BX

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West fast jack removal

I travel without the jacks and use similar method as GPNAZ. I just bought large wingnuts to replace the locknuts. Afterall, I'm just using the jacks to raise/lower the camper to load/unload it on the truck. No stress and not much chance they will vibrate loose just sitting in the backyard. BX

Baja what's that trail you are running there? Sorry, but I'm confused. Was not running a trail, just camped. If you were asking about my trailer, it is a Canadian M101 1/4 ton that I have made modifications to and was our camper for many years. The roof top tent was deployed with a For Sale...

I think that if you do some research you will find that Toyota increased the size of the front brake calipers in '03 or '04 because of quick pad wear and rotor warping. I would think that it should be an easy upgrade to put on the larger calipers. The early Tundra was a 199mm (SW13WE) caliper...
