Hi there, I may have missed the boat on your thread, but I upgraded the back of my extra cab Tacoma. I left the jumper seats in there, but built a hinged platform for the dogs, tons of room below for my tools.
I kept mine on- it's handy to set things on, it's a nice porch- and bonus- if someone hits me- I'd rather them hit the steel tailgate than the aluminum camper! I see it as a bit of protection.
I know I'm late to the party, but a Contractor's Truck would be rad. Extra storage in the "bedsides" or flatbed would be a huge welcomed upgrade to any truck camper! Cheers.
That's what I'm thinking! She's likely tied up with a horse show that weekend, but I may be able to make it. We've got a 2007 Eagle on the back of a 2003 4x4 Tacoma. Pics in my gallery- haven't had time for a build thread here yet.
We traveled on the trails after midnight for about 1.5 hrs, settled into camp to hear a nice trickle of a stream. Woke up the next morning to whiz, walked 20 feet and found this glorious 2 tiered waterfall. Can you spot my fiancee on her birthday morning?
