I would drill right through the angle and plywood and put small carriage bolts on. You aren't going to pull them out.

Just my opinion, but for a family of 4, plus everything needed for 4, you may want something larger than an F150.

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West 1979 Granby

They used to have deflectors like that on the back of station wagons in the 60s-70s. They were supposed to help keep the rear of the car clean from dirt/dust/snow etc.....Dont know if they worked that well.....I think I would remove it.

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Camper storage - up or down?

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West E rated tires and air pressure?

If you look closely at the sideway of your tires, it gives you the recommended PSI & Max weight that the tire should take. I put Lts on my 1/2 ton....It says 65 PSI for 3200 lbs on each tire.....I am no where near that weight on each tire, so run 50 PSI.....Rides good.

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West "Stealth Camping" in the East with a Pop-Top?

Hi...also new here and was thinking about the same thing. I would think that a camper with the front dinette would be quite comfortable for sleeping with the top down. A 6 footer like me would be able to stretch out better.
