Any problems/concerns with weight? I've been obsessed with that topic since buying my Taco last Fall. The GVWR is 5600 and with gear, me, and the dog in it, I run at about 6000 lbs. I haven't notice any braking or handling issues with the overage, but technically I AM over.

Looks like they've changed the head unit (radio) for the 2016 Tacoma. I could not get the adapter from TSS to come even close to fitting the Sirius output connection on the unit. :huh: So, no luck on replacing the shark fin antenna that is now blocked by the Eagle shell.

OK, solved the problem. There are not two male ends on the connectors- simply a case of being very tiny, hard to see, and bad eyesight. I spoke with the people at TSS and they were excellent to deal with. The problem was a poor fitment between the FRA3M and the Sirius antenna extension. They are...

Interesting . . . that same patch cable now has a MALE connection at the end that should connect to the antenna cable. (Also male.) :blink:

I bought the patch cable and the micro antenna as recommended. However, I am a bit lost and wonder if you can give some help before I pull the radio in my 2016 Tacoma out. Here's my question: there seems to be no connection to be made between the patch cable and the antenna. In other words...
