RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West New Forum Launch July 29

DD, Started to report no problems but it made a liar out of me I did a multiquote and added a separate typed in quote agreeing with TT's comment in "THE CHANGE" thread in this forum and when it got to the second emoticon it truncated the rest of the message. Don't know if it was my problem...

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Can an old FWC be modded to fit a Toyota T-100?

Rich, From the outside appearances the Fleet and Ranger look real close in size except for the cab-over extension on the Ranger (see the two pics TT posted at http://www.wanderthewest.com/forum/showthread.php?t=2298 ). It doesn't sound like you're interested but I'll add that there's a Ranger...

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Can an old FWC be modded to fit a Toyota T-100?

Rich, If I remember correctly Tomas Tierra had an older "Fleet" model in his T-100 and all it took was a sheet of 3/4" plywood under it to raise it above the rails. There's a pic of it on one of the threads along with a Ranger and they're nearly identical for size. EDITGuess I was remembering...

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Propane Tank Full?

At one point I looked up the weight of propane and wrote it on the tank - 4.1lbs I think (the FWC is in Portland and I'm in LA). But it didn't make sense with my tank weights. I suspect that the "standard" 4.11 to 4.24 weight is at a higher pressure (gas law: V/N=kT/P; as the pressure increases...

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Propane Tank Full?

...A 20lb tank actually holds 4.73 gallons and our horizontal version a little less. The tare weight is stamped on the bottle and I recall that it is 20lbs... I thought about checking for a tare wt. on the tank then forgot...sure enough, on the collar around the valve ours is stampted T.W...

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Propane Tank Full?

Weight of full tank. mtnman, Our tank has always registered 1/2 when it's full...not a problem 'till you use half and it reads empty and you don't know how much is left from there on. Six days/nights with fridg, hot water, stove and furnace would put us down about 2 to 3 gallons, but it would...

...bolt through is the ONLY way. No worries about the camper at all. I've been hearing that from you guys that have more experience with the campers off road than I do. pvstoy had a write-up of his experience with bolt through that was pretty convincing too. I like having the cheap/easy to...

Scott, This last post prompted me to go back through your whole thread and I enjoyed it a lot.
