thx for info. maybe it was a lease return. i am ok with the preowned cars/trucks. my little city car/suv was purchased just like yours. a newer vehicle, with low miles, is like new. now that we have the van, and city car, i am finding that i am not a huge fan of driving around the pdx area...

i think either option u present would be great. with your first camper, i would go easy on the bells and whistles. once you have owned one, and used it for awhile - thats when you really understand what u want, or not :) . good luck. i went with ATC on a gmc, and it was great.
