RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West WTB 4WC Eagle or ATC Ocelot in Canada **CAMPER ORDERED!**

Hi and thanks, I ordered it in 72" width with the slide-out larger bed and the side couch plus the cold weather pack. Furnace, 2-way compressor fridge, additional battery plus solar. A powered fan over the bed plus normal one over the galley, a rear window, those little steps for climbing up the...

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West 270° Awning on Pop-up Camper

Very cool info guys, thanks for taking the time to fill me in. Jeff at ATC had an idea I am thinking about too, to build the camper with a shorter door...meaning you could mount the awning lower overall and still have it clear the top of the door around back. Having a lower awning would make...

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West 270° Awning on Pop-up Camper

Looks cool jimjxsn, I like both ideas. With the second system you mentioned that it's through bolted. As in, you drilled holes from the outside of the camper through the sheet metal and through the interior wall? Is it easy to find a structural member to mount do while doing that or is the...

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West 270° Awning on Pop-up Camper

That looks awesome. How do the brackets fasten to the side of the camper? Did you drill holes right through and pass bolts to the inside with a nut on the inside?

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West 270° Awning on Pop-up Camper

Any questions that come to mind let me know. Keep in mind that the tie downs and stuff you see in my picture, a lot of that is stuff I have added after the fact but only because I wanted to overkill it being that I need it to stand up to high winds in the mountain passes where I camp, like 60...

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West 270° Awning on Pop-up Camper

It is very high quality and is awesome to use and makes a huge difference in what I can and can't do around camp. To put it one way, I like it so much that it's become a major part of which camper I am going to buy. Besides the item being great the customer service from OVS is top shelf as well...

Hi again all, Wondering if there is room to store a big Yeti cooler on top of the cabinet which is to immediate left upon entering an ATC Ocelot (on top of the fridge). I'd like to plunk my big cooler on top of there and it has a footprint of 32" long by 18" deep, with a height of 17". Anyone...

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West 270° Awning on Pop-up Camper

Hi all, Does anybody have experience mounting a 270 degree awning to their pop-up truck camper? I am looking to buy a truck camper for 2022 season. I will require an awning and I already own an Overland Vehicle Systems 270 degree awning that I'd like to transfer over to the camper. I am...

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West WTB 4WC Eagle or ATC Ocelot in Canada **CAMPER ORDERED!**

Definitely tricky to meet up unless things change, so here's hoping. Also to update and elaborate for anybody who's wondering what technical differences exist between Bobcat and Ocelot, it's the floor width. The Ocelot has a 48" wide floor while the Bobcat has just 39".

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West WTB 4WC Eagle or ATC Ocelot in Canada **CAMPER ORDERED!**

And this is the part that confuses me; those are identical dimensions to the Ocelot in it's 72" wide form. What is it that is different between the two campers that makes it worthwhile to offer both at the same foot print? ATC site for reference.

Interesting, thanks Frank I hadn't heard about the platform being necessary so I will look into that. I have emailed the guys at ATC but of course being the weekend haven't heard back yet. This thread is to get a head start on my search - I've been through the 2-3 year browsing and consideration...

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West WTB 4WC Eagle or ATC Ocelot in Canada **CAMPER ORDERED!**

Hi Vic, I have seen your posts as I've been lurking around and I had thought that maybe I'd ask you about doing a meetup one day if I am lining up an order for an ATC - it's fairly nerve wracking to think about dropping that money on a product I've never even seen in person and I see you are...

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West WTB 4WC Eagle or ATC Ocelot in Canada **CAMPER ORDERED!**

Thank you and I wanted to consider it, in fact the only reason I chose to not mention it in my post was because I can't seem to figure out the dimensions of the Bobcat; most folks peg it at 72" wide by 80" long but that overlaps with the 72" Ocelot. Is the Bobcat not somehow smaller? If I can...

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West WTB 4WC Eagle or ATC Ocelot in Canada **CAMPER ORDERED!**

Hello, Looking to connect with the seller of the above mentioned campers, either an Eagle or an Ocelot in the 72" width. I have to pass on any shell models unfortunately, as water storage and a sink are required for us. Hot water is not required. Would consider 4WC Fleet as well. I am located...
