RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Will 2010 Hawk fit on 2024 Chevrolet 82 inch truck bed with tailgate closed?

HiCap...I went through the same decison and research on fitting a Hawk on my '23 GMC 3500 SRW with Muti-Pro tailgate. Hawk does not fit! R&R ing the tailgate and losing camera was not what I wanted to do. Expensive tailgate to risk damaging during R&R and storage. I have narrowed my decison...

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Truck Camper and Using Multi-Pro Tailgate?

Well, I thought long and hard about this.... The Cirrus 620 checks most boxes for me! 1. For me, I do not want to R&R the tailgate several times during the year. It takes two people to do this. I will not leave the camper on after my trips (ex. 2-3 day trips up to 2-3 weeks) 2. I do not...

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Truck and Camper Dropped Off Lift

Glad no one was injured! Material things can be replaced. I hope that dealer has/will take care of you. Was it a 2 or 4 post lift? IMO....I would think any truck/camper being serviced should be done on a 4 post lift.

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Truck Camper and Using Multi-Pro Tailgate?

Jon, thanks for the detailed info and pics, much appreciated! Since my trips are 1-2 weeks long, and plans are 3-4 trips per year, I wonder if the hassle of removing the tailgate is worth it...ex. What does the Hawk pop up offer me over the Cirrus 620 (tailgate fits inside bed allowing...

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Truck Camper and Using Multi-Pro Tailgate?

Jon R, thank for the description on fitment of the Hawk in my rig. That's too bad, as I really wanted to use the Multi Pro tailgate features and its step. Perhaps trying to find a unit that allows me to close the tailgate is too restricting in term of choices. I just hate to lose the tailgate...

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Truck Camper and Using Multi-Pro Tailgate?

I am considering a used truck camper. Being as most of my travels will be in the Southwest, I am looking at both hard side and soft sided pop ups. On occasion, I may take my aluminum fishing in tow when camping. Traveling mainly alone, with passenger or two at times, but not enough to need a...

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West What year did Hallmark start Fiberglass Roofs?

Thanks Stray Dog. I called Hallmark. They needed a pic of roof to make determination. Serial # look up for this vintage is not available. It was determined to be a rubber roof. Now....I need to evaluate if asking price is appropriate considering the rubber roof.

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West What year did Hallmark start Fiberglass Roofs?

I am considering a 2006 Hallmark UTE XS. The owner does not know if it is a fiberglass roof or not. He sent me a pic but I am unable to tell if its fiberglass or rubber. Is there another way to determine? The camper is 800 miles away so not to easy to go and loom at. Thanks!

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Northstar 850SC winter camping

I know this is an older post, but it would be nice to know the outcomes of the OP and others who attempted to improve their freezing water lines. I am considering an 850SC and this info would be invaluable. NOTE: Last pics posted by henrys are no longer viewable. Thanks
