    Front of camper structure

Here's a stud sensor that works well in my build. The pic is a mockup detecting an aluminum frame on a portable solar panel behind the standard paneling. Although the camera lens is off slightly, the center notch is directly over the metal edge when the third sensor lights up. Hope this helps.

    Cougar or Puma Shell?

Piling on here, with nothing but praise for Marty and the ATC gang. I'm building out a 78" wide Puma shell on an F-150 HDPP SuperCab. It is so refreshing to have everything level, plumb and square to build from. Yes, they are more than flexible with getting you off to a good start with as...

Questions regarding "So, you want to setup a good electrical system in your camper?"

Appreciate everyone’s responses – that’s what makes the WTW forums so great. Camper frame grounding has always been a puzzle to me, and I suspect to a few other folks as well. A few follow-ups to clarify: - Thom, the additional breaker at the truck end of the DC-DC charging circuit makes...

Questions regarding "So, you want to setup a good electrical system in your camper?"

Vic, I've thoroughly enjoyed your threads and responses on all things electrical -- many thanks for your sage, practical advice. Building out my ATC Puma shell system, I'm stumped with a DC grounding question, and would greatly appreciate your view, please. This camper will have DC-DC and...

    Lithium upgrade schematic

Nice discussion on this topic. Laying out a system with several similarities, I noticed your 4 AWG spec for all wires except from the solar panel. Would the wires to the DC load fuse box need to match that larger gauge, if the combined DC loads are sufficiently covered by, say, 8 or 10 AWG...

    Hypervent?

AdventureDave, I'm considering the HyPUR-Flo product for the same reasons you mentioned -- less friction moving the slider board in and out, and thinner, since I'd fold it up along the cushion edges so vapor can escape, without the cushion up against the wet wall surface. How's it been working...

    Floor Pack Paint

Yes, I can confirm the current floor pack paint as used on my Puma shell, built Nov 2022. Pic attached. All this with a truly enjoyable delivery, four months ahead of schedule. The ATC crew is A-1 awesome!

    Front dinette buildout ideas

Thanks, Sage -- much appreciated . Yes, that looks like @BlueSky 's excellent Cougar build. A great use of space, and fine workmanship to boot. He uses the upper shelf (24 in over floor) for both the seats and bunk. Since I'm trying to conserve sitting headroom for stealth use, that lower...

    Front dinette buildout ideas

Hi -- This forum has been a wealth of great ideas as I get closer to an ordered 78-wide Puma build date of March 2023. In the meantime, I've been poring over alternative DIY layout options. One that keeps floating to the top is a front dinette that converts into a lower bunk, using the 28-in...
