I tried to buy the hawk in Sacramento. It was sold to the first guy. Work got in the way on Friday, so had to wait until Saturday and it was too late. I was ready to go over the Sierras in a huge storm to go get it.

I'm two months into my search for a Hawk camper. I want one in average condition. By average I mean one that is used, but not so used it is falling apart. No leaks and in good condition...not perfect I'm going to put some scratches on it. The only options I must have are a heater and camper...

I haul my extra water in a plastic diesel can. Same thing as the red gas cans at walmart, but it is yellow and since I don't have a diesel the only thing I will put in it is water. Much more heavy duty than the water jugs they sell and they have a nice pour hose and a vent for easy filling.

Whoops, I want a Hawk, I edited my original post. I don't know about the Lance staying at home...the wife thinks the Lance is too small, so she really isn't going to like the FWC. That is what the guy trips are for anyways.
