RV LIFE Multisite Forum, Wander The West Rear turnbuckle mount failure on Hallmark Guanella

Yes, I did use them on rough roads. I believe the truck handle better and made it ride smoother. It also didn't bottom out as much. It certainly handled better, especially on wash board roads. They also eliminated the slight body sag with the camper installed.

RV LIFE Multisite Forum, Wander The West Rear turnbuckle mount failure on Hallmark Guanella

I used the lower StableLoads on my F250 with Northstar T650. No air bags. I thought they worked very well handling the load. I installed them myself and not hard to do. I liked that I could disable the StableLoads when the camper was off the truck giving back the stock ride. Also used the...

The truck gets 11-12 MPG with the camper on depending on road, wind, mountains, etc. Since it's on 24/7, don't know MPG without camper. I guess I don't exactly know what you mean by "inspected". I have not had any third party mechanics look the truck over. If someone wanted a mechanical...

I've used Tork Lift tie-downs on my previous 2006 Tacoma/Phoenix Camper combo and on my current Ford F250/Northstar combo. They are rock solid and well worth the money. Easy to install and securely mounts your camper to the truck frame. No modifications necessary for the truck or camper. Also...

Looks like a cool trip! I will be in the area in about a week. I read on Gorp.com that, as I understand it, it is about a 14 mile 4x4 trail and they budgeted 8 hours of driving. So they are estimating 4 hours each way. Does that sound right to you? I'll have a baby on board so I need to be...
