RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West The Supertramp Camper

I've been checking these out with some interest. Regarding the linear actuators, they do have a manual override which sounds like it is cranking them down with an allen wrench which I imagine would be a very time consuming process but better than nothing. If the actuators don't work because the...

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West I'm back!

Spring might take me to Death Valley and Arizona. Maybe Southern Nevada. Summer I'll definitely be hitting Colorado for a long stay, with some Wyoming, Montana, and Idaho thrown in for good measure.

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West I'm back!

Hello everyone. I was captured by an evil corporation and held hostage in a small cube for years. I managed to escape and will be hitting the road this year for some extended trips. Looking forward to catching up with some old friends!

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West spell check

I work at a security company now and we read a lot about this stuff. One important thing: be sure you absolutely know who that the "microsoft techs" are from Microsoft. One of the current scams is to "infect" your computer with something that says you need to call support at xxx.xxx.xxxx number...

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Ancient archaeology of WTW

WTW did start as a blog. I had posted some trip reports and one particular account of problems I was having with the propane in my new FWC. That propane issue discussed my dissatisfaction at FWC's customer support and how I essentially had to seek out my own answers and resolutions to the...

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Gold Butte Range War

I'm sure this guy doesn't like paying taxes either but he does. Why? Because he knows the IRS would come down on him like the wrath of the God if he messed with them. Despite how it's trumped up in these recent articles, the BLM is largely a toothless organization, as demonstrated by this latest...

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Gold Butte NV. Welfare Rancher resists eviction with armed militia

I would argue that cheap beef imports from places like Brazil have done more damage to the livelihood of ranchers than any regulations. In fact, I had one tell me once that a couple decades ago it took the sale of x cattle to buy a new truck, and now it takes 3 times as many. I would imagine a...

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Northern CA/OR coastal camping?

If you go to Mattole Beach, about a mile before the beach there is a little gravel road to the right that leads to a crossing of the river. If you have a 4wd truck it should be an easy crossing. On the other side is a wide area with a lot of spots to camp.
