That is not a Four Wheel Campers. Older pop-up, wood frame construction, could be one of many different brands back then. Jayco, Texan, Palomino, Northstar, Starcraft, etc.

It has been many years, but I have heard of this once before. I think it also bent his truck frame. :( I have also heard customers get mad when shops like this can't or won't put the customers truck on a lift to work on it. I'm sure this is why dealerships are worried about truck campers...

@heytexas You might want to check, and double check on a camper tie down system before you get too far along. I don't think that FWC has any tie down systems available to mount a Swift Model, on to a 22' Ford Ranger with the really short 5.0' bed. I have not seen any aftermarket solutions...
