RV LIFE Multisite Forum, Wander The West Garage sale Awning find

I think Karma is finally looking kindly on me for some unknown reason. On my way home yesterday from the grocery store,I spot a garage sale. As I drive by at 50 mph (two lane Highway) I see a box awning leaning up against a fence. My wife thinks I'm crazy and say's there is no way I saw what I...

RV LIFE Multisite Forum, Wander The West Magic Mesh

Thanks for the ideas MrWindow. I have chopped and hung and it does work. The major problem is that the top has to move so you can get in. You have a neat solution to that problem. The velcro would work but for the fact it is glue back and the glue melts in heat. Thats why I went old school...

RV LIFE Multisite Forum, Wander The West Magic Mesh

It's a piece of junk! Yes it's not a stock screen door. But I made it work for us because we don't have a screen door. Not the best answer but it keeps most of the critters out. Had my significant other hem a pocket in the top and sides after adjusting the size. I used a 3/8 dowel for a rod and...

RV LIFE Multisite Forum, Wander The West Ol wise ones!

Old wise ones. I greatly appreciate your opinions. Time to replace my tires on my 2002 F-350 Ford diesel, 4x4, 1-ton pick-up with a dedicated Keystone 4 wheel camper on the rear. I want to use a larger tire so I can get an extra couple inches below the differential. I am installing a 4...

RV LIFE Multisite Forum, Wander The West Electrical Question

Might try turning off the 120VAC breaker in the power panel, then plug in and turn it back on. It arcs because there is a load present. (something is drawing power) As suggested turn off the breaker and plug in then reset breaker.

I had a camper trailer that the heater got damaged from wasps and mud daubers getting in the exhaust of the heater and building nests. I have looked around and found some screens that for my unit are exterior mounted and might come off eventually. Here is my .99 solution. I need to put a red...

I would suggest leaving the tail gate "ON" to give the camper some support. Kind of nice not having to take the tail gate off and finding a storage space for it too. Sample pictures attached. :) . Stan Thanks for the pictures! I was wondering how it would look. Maybe I can meet you when I...
