I also added reflectix around the furnace compartment. I plan to put the fridge directly above the furnace so that I can use the louvers in the old propane access door for ventilation. Hopefully the reflectix helps keep the heat away from the fridge.

Made some progress on the camper. I was able to get a local place to make me some aluminum panels that matched the front and the back sections. I had them make me a new roof as well. Frank, Thanks for the heads up! It seems to me that there wouldn't be a huge advantage to having removable flaps. I will definitely talk to Marty about that. When I spoke to him on the phone last week he was very helpful and I look forward to working with ATC on this.

Like many other things that I planned to salvage, the roof had seen better days. I ended up stripping it down to the frame. I'm glad that I did because the mold was pervasive. Also, major cracks in the metal were hidden by globs of sealant.
