Helmet, You were spot on. You are right about the crimp and the wiring. It did look a bit skinny for 10 gauge. What was your solution? Stay with same wires and used new crimp? Should I get rid of the 12 gauge section?

It is not burned thru. It is scorched pretty toasty on the inside. Two spots like a inverted comma about 3.5 inches. Probably happened when the top was down as the spots sort of matches in shape. Lower scorched spot is more dark and deep compared to the spot on top.

I have VictronConnect 30amp controller and LiFo4 200 ah battery. System worked very nicely and I had no issues until last week. I will check wiring and will report back if I find frayed wires. Thanks very much to all.

Ha, had to give you some grief as if asked for... ZAmp ZS-30A manual states it has Li function. Does your manual differs from screen display. Did you call ZAmp? They are very accessible. Moot point, get a Victron.

Wallowa, You are wrong. My 2016 Grandby came with ZAmp 30a controller and the manual states that it does support Li battery. When all else fail, read instructions. I just upgraded to Victron 100/30 per Vic’s suggestion.
