RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West 1st Bike Ride!

I'm 64 and am fortunate enough to have only minor joint problems so am still putting in some pretty long miles on the bikes. When I can't pedal anymore I'll probably break down and buy a motorcycle. I guess I don't understand the appeal of the motor assisted bicycles: It seems like just a way...

This is a great resource! Thank you. I spent a little time comparing it to the Backroad Mapbooks that just arrived in the mail; Most, if not all, of the Recreation Sites appear on the maps in the mapbooks; so a great combination of resources.

N and I are planning to spend some time wandering around the Canadian Rockies in July and August. Neither of us have been there before. We would appreciate any help that those of you familiar with the area can give us in getting a grasp of the camping possibilities in Alberta and B.C. We have...

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Just when I think people can't be that stupid

We used to see this regularly here in West Marin. Well-meaning animal lovers with very little understanding of the natural world find "abandoned" young seals and decide to "help" them. The first thing they notice about their new little "friend" is that it feels cold to the touch... Time to...

I love your trip reports Milt. My wife generally ignores WTW, but she insists that I let her know any time you post a new trip. We enjoy not only the art work but your relaxed narrative. Thanks.

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West Aluminum flatbed fender clearance

I'm not exactly sure what your question is, but if you give the bed manufacturer the model and year of your truck and the size of your tires they should be able to make a bed for you that will not rub on the tires. If you want to know whether the tire will tuck in behind the skirt, measure the...

RV LIFE Forum Hub, Wander The West A Little Different Camper Build

Thanks! Here's the link for the hinges (Note they come in a left and a right.) http://www.hardwaresource.com/index.php?l=product_detail&p=6344 I used the "lightweight" ones and they work fine, but if your lid is any larger than mine I think the heavier ones would be better.
