I moved from a RAM 1500 with 1999 Hawk slide-in to a RAM 3500 gasser with a Hawk flatbed. After a 3-week trip with 4 people through AK in the 1500, I wanted more wiggle room on GVWR and less wear and tear on the truck. Thanks for the thumbs up, Vic! I do not have solar. I am considering a new camper in the next few years, so I didn't go all in on the latest plan.
