Very happy with Hallmark during the whole order and customizing phase.

Congrats LosAngeles! Looks like an excellent build! I couldn't agree more with your first post, I also ordered a hallmark at the end of 2019. We're nearing the end of our build and they have been great to work with. Can't wait to put it together! I don't really post in forums much but if...

    Air conditioning

Thank you for your feedback, that's great news so far. Do you know how many BTU's your AC was? It's been very humid out here the last several summers. Not what we're accustomed to. Having an AC would open up more opportunities to get out, that's for sure!

    Air conditioning

how well does the air conditioner work in a hallmark camper? We would likely only pair it with a Honda 2200 generator as we typically only boondock. How long will it run on said generator with a full tank? Does it cool the cabin quickly? Looking for any feedback on your experience...

*SOLD* 2017 Ram Crew Cab Diesel & 2017 FWC Hawk FLATBED

Complete build, ready for adventure. To build this today would be $140k+. Not including all of your time, researching, planning, tuning, traveling back and forth between each builder (AT Overland, CJC Offroad, Carli Suspension, Deaver Leaf Springs, etc.) All of the legwork has been done...

Which truck for FWC flat bed?

One or two of my boys will sleep in the dinette bed, the rest of us in the king size. It works great, but I know as my kids get older it's going to get tighter (they're currently 6, 12 & 14). The combination of having an air conditioner, more fresh water and bunk beds gives us reason to at...

Which truck for FWC flat bed?

Good question. A few reasons. I opted for the short bed ram for the turning radius. I came from Toyota’s and enjoyed wheeling so it was a hard concept for me to go to a long bed turning radius. Having gotten used to my new rig, i still prefer the short bed. Even though i have the shortbed, we...

Which truck for FWC flat bed?

I have a 2017 hawk flatbed, just like the one dave had, previously mentioned in this thread. Matter of fact, after my wife and I walked through his, she insisted I sell my land cruiser and adventure trailer and build a truck like his. So we did. I did build mine on a 2017 ram 3500 though, for...

1/2 ton or 3/4 ton, what are most people using for their FWC?

Maintenance is hardly any different on a diesel than a gasser. 15k mile oil/oil filter/fuel filter intervals, air filter as needed, 60k transmission fluid, rotors and pads last a stupid long time. All this maintenance i can do myself which cuts the costs. My Cummins ram 3500 handles my...

Auxiliary or Driving Lights Mounted to Cabover Overhang?

I think Baja designs has lights that will replace your fog lights that can give you more useable light. You can also look at ditch lights, they mount at the base of your a pillar, at the corners of your hood. You can point these in your preferred direction. I feel like when hunting for campsites...

One Last Attempt: Has anyone used their FWC water system in below freezing temps?

Is it a huge no no to travel with the furnace on? Or even the water heater?

    Hawk Flatbed Build Thread

Some good info in this thread. I really like the bunk and the 80/20 stuff, it opens up a lot of possibilities. I'm curious to hear how your bunk bed has been holding up, if there's any side effects or anything? My flatbed hawk should be done shortly and we're planning on putting our family of...
