Vic, So you must have ordered the 14.5" to 21.5" length? That seems a bit long for my application. I have the aluminum turnbuckles from the installer for a Fleet on a Nissan Frontier. I haven't measured them, but it seems that they tightened down to less than 12". Mike

Oh, oh! My installation was done by the same Tigard dealer. I guess that I better check my wiring. I hate the turnbuckles too! I did read somewhere on here that there are a different style of turnbuckle available that allow a quick release and re-tightening. I'll have to look them up again.
